| Info | The Astrosoc, the University of Leicester's Astronomical Society. Bringing space and astronomy to everyone. Our main aim is to increase and activate interest in astronomy both within the university and outside. We are a Student Union club and proudly proclaim that everyone is welcome to join. All levels of knowledge, experience and abilities are welcome. All that is required is that you wrap up warm and and prepare to be amazed at the wonders of the universe.
We are an active society and hold regular astronomy meetings, observing sessions and trips to the United Kingdom's greatest space attractions. We work side by side with many professional and amateur astronomy groups and encourage our members to network with the astronomy community.
