Crawley Astronomical Society has been an active society for more than 30 years. One of our founder members being Sir Patrick Moore.
We have approximately 35 current members who range from our President Nigel Calder, an independent Science writer , through to enthusiastic newer members who are beginning to find their way around the night sky.
Our monthly meetings cover varying topics of astronomical interest and usually include a guest speaker. However members also benefit from an informal exchange of information within the group.
